Its New Year's Eve!

First up, apologies from us for not commenting on all your bloggies, Blogger seems to be acting up and won't allow the comment box to pop up, grr!

Remember I said my hooman was off to her hometown, WITHOUT me? Well, I didn't kick up a fuss, (nor did I sue her) because.., BECAUSE, of this!




She got us one HUUUGGGE bag of yummy rawhide! I told her to keep it for me cuz I was afraid I would chew them all up in a day!

So, what are my pals doing to celebrate the new year?
I am chewing the day, and YEAR, away!

And here's a Happy New Year to all my pawesome buddies!
It sure has been a great year complete with happiness, excitement, loads of chewies together with some tears for our beloved friends, furry or not.
We hope for another great year ahead, especially for all our DWB buddies!

No, it's not the beginning of a bad joke, but the tale of a shoplifting pooch in Utah.

The K-9 caper took place at Smith's Food & Drug Store in Murray.

"I've never seen him shop in here before; brand new customer," the manager said. "Didn't even have his Fresh Value card."

After checking out a girl in the checkout lane, the dog went straight to aisle 16. The dog food aisle.

"He knew where he was headed," the manager said.

He grabbed a rawhide bone, only to be confronted by the manager.

"I looked at him," the manager said. "I said, 'Drop it!' I decided I wanted to keep all my fingers, so I didn't try to take it from him. He looked at me and I looked at him and he ran for the door and away he went. Right out the front door."

He's still at large, presumably enjoying his bone, which was valued at $2.79.

Police have issued an APB for the missing mutt - an All Pooch Bulletin.

In Remembrance Of The 2004 Tsunami Victims

Today is the 26th, Boxing Day.

4 years after the horrible tsunami happened and killed hundreds of thousands of people, and our furry friends too.

After all the exciting festivities, let us spare a minute or two for the victims and families of the tsunami.

Let us say our prayers and be grateful for those around us, our friends and our family, and that includes the hoomans too.

We are forever grateful for the friends we have met through DWB, and that is YOU, who's reading this post.

Well well, our hooman is finally back, (more on that later!)and thank dog for that coz its Christmas!

I'm not too sure about Santa though, he doesn't look very fit for carrying out his duties!

Update to let all of you know that the HOOMAN went back to her hometown to celebrate her Gramma's barkday. But I think she's just there to play with Brownie. I'm telling ya, I'm about to sue her soon.

Well, I haven't met her before, she's my Gramma's lil' rascal, but from what my hooman tells me, she's like a deer, jumping here and there!

How are all my friends doing?

Uh-oh..

WHISKEY...is one interesting STORY!

So today, she went out of the house compund, although I warned her against it.

She couldn't resist.

She got out, but she couldn't come back in, hahah!

So she had to wait there till the hooman let her in, and then Whiskey proceeded to tell us what happened out there.

Apparently she met this fat cat who couldn't be bothered by her presence.

THEN, in the afternoon, she decided that the hooman's sandal looked delicious.

And so the chewing began.

But since her teefies are sooo...you know,.....there wasn't much damage, so I thought she wouldn't be blamed.

BUT! She got caught RED-PAWED!

In the evening, this is what happened.She got stuck in there. But she's stubborn and says its comfy. You trust her?

THIIIS is the LIFE! Snooze.

What a ball!

Guess what happened today? We got, well, I meant, I got a rawhide ball. Yummy. Here are pics:

I'm telling you, this is cruelty to animals. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to report you. Mind lending me your phone? And helping me dial? Sad to say the ball's too big for Whiskey's tiny lil' mouth. Bwahhahahahahahah!

I finally got to chew it. Too bad it didn't last more than 15 minutes. Sigh.

So, in the past weeks, we did quite a lot of things, actually, I guess we weren't COMPLETELY abandoned!

We had yummylicious SAUSAGES, of which I only got HALF a sausage, (SOOO unfair!), and yet I still had to pose with it. Grr.

And then, we got our KONG!

Stuffed with biscuits and some cereal and bone-shaped biscuits, then sealed off with p-butter! We had a few rounds of it actually, even one freezed with some yummy tasting liquid and carrot pieces!

The sad part was, I had to SHARE.

Countdown..

Doggies, we have apporximately 21 more days till "hibernating season" as (Pacco calls it!) ends.
We are so way way way waaaaaayyyy behind in all of your bloggies, we'd probably have to do a blog-reading-marathon!
Heck, if we were even running in a marathon (fat chance though), we would be just starting and the others would be at home resting already!
Can't wait to post again about all we did all these while!

Hint: lotsa kongs included, and banana strawberry smoothies too!

Another Quickie!-Pawlimpics Action!

Wow! Pawlimpics ended already, and we missed out on quite a lot, but!
Everyone sure did a great job, especially Lenny who organised it all!

We did just okay and managed one bronze medal and an honorable mention.

For the ball category, honorable mention!

And for the wrestling event, we got a bronze!Congrats to all the winners! And thank you, Lenny!

Whiskey came home safely yesterday, sorry for the late update, we were busy wrestling again!
We would like to thank EVERYDOGGY for their kind words, wishes and healing vibes sent!
It sure helped Whiskey and us over here!

Her ears are paw-fectly clean!

And here comes the not-so-good news! Our hooman is busy with some MAJOR thing which I totally do not understand...AGAIN!

Thankfully I have Whiskey again!

We still haven't received any updates on Whiskey from the docs.

But, she's scheduled to come home tomorrow if everything goes okay.

No one answers our hooman's calls coz its the weekend.

Brandy here again..
Whiskey is still at the clinic, and like Booker and Happy said, she is probably traumatised.
Although she still has occasional bouts of shivering, on the bright side the docs said that she ate last night, which is a good sign.
I wish I can go give her a hug right now.
Miss her loads.
Thank you all for keeping her in your prayers, let's hope she'll get better ASAP.

Bad news...

Hey all, Brandy here.
Whiskey was pretty smart today and had an accident.
SOMEHOW, she got herself stuck in a hole but our hooman managed to get her out easily.
BUT!
She was shivering and didn't look ok, so she was sent to the vet.
Currently, she's at the clinic under observation, so she should be okay, she had to go for a blood test and what nots, but she is said to be fine now...still, keep her in your thoughts won't ya!
*Sobs*
I miss her already.
Let's hope she'll be back soon!

Pawlimpics Video and...Durian?

Hello all! Our hooman finally has some spare time on her hands. Well, since we were SO LOST in the blogosphere lately, and did not get to check our mails, blog, etc...we FINALLY saw Lenny's Bone Relay video today. Believe me, it is DA HAWTEST BOMB EVER!!! We would like to say thanks to Lenny for doing such a pawsome job! You can view the video here.

And secondly, we had the chance of tasting the King of Fruits, the almighty DURIAN!!! It was goooood, I'm telling ya, though I wouldn't wanna get pricked by its scawie thorns!

Here'a a word of advice, DO NOT BITE THE SEED! Its horribly BITTER inside! I know from experience!

Hello all! Sorry for the absence! My hooman was verry busy with what she calls "preparations" for whatever it is she has to prepare for! And bad news, she'll be "preparing" her heart out some more for the next two weeks!
